‍This International Women's Day, we want to take a moment to do something we perhaps don't do often enough: shine a light on the remarkable women who make Adams + Oliver what it is.

Our business is built on relationships, trust, and exceptional standards. And when we look honestly at who drives those qualities day in and day out, four names stand out. Together, Amanda, Lorraine, Selena and Jo represent 32 years of loyalty, expertise and dedication to this business and everyone we serve.

Amanda Galloway — Head of Resourcing: 5 Years

Amanda has led our resourcing function for five years, and in that time she has shaped the way we find, assess and present talent to our clients. Running a resourcing team in Financial Services is no small task — the market is competitive, client expectations are high, and the quality bar is uncompromising. Amanda has met every challenge with professionalism and a genuine commitment to getting it right.

Her leadership has been instrumental in maintaining the standards that our clients rely on, and her ability to build and develop a high-performing team is a quality we see evidenced in results every single week.

Lorraine Hyman — Finance Manager: 10 Years

A decade at Adams + Oliver is a remarkable milestone, and Lorraine has spent every one of those years ensuring that the financial foundations of our business are sound, compliant and well-managed. In the world of specialist recruitment, cash flow, contractor payroll and financial reporting are mission-critical — and Lorraine handles all of it with precision and calm.

Her longevity and institutional knowledge are genuinely irreplaceable. She knows our business, our people and our numbers better than almost anyone — and that depth of understanding is something that cannot simply be hired in. It is earned, year by year.

Selena Bennett — Candidate Relationship Manager: 10 Years

Selena has spent a decade doing something that sits at the very heart of what we do at Adams + Oliver: building relationships that truly last. In a sector where candidates are too often treated as transactions, Selena has always taken a different approach — one grounded in listening, honesty and genuine care.

Her ten years of continuous candidate relationships speak for themselves. Jo Drury — Head of Data, Quality & Information Security: 7 Years

Jo leads a function that has become increasingly critical to how modern businesses operate — and she has been ahead of the curve at every stage. Over seven years, she has built and maintained the data governance, quality management and information security frameworks that underpin our ISO certifications and our reputation for operating to the highest professional standards.

In an industry where data and compliance are now defining competitive advantages, Jo's work is not merely operational — it is strategic. Her expertise protects our clients, our candidates and our business, and ensures that Adams + Oliver continues to meet and exceed the expectations of the organisations we work with.
